QDEVU Integrated Sewage Treatment Plant is mainly for the treatment of domestic sewage and industrial organic wastewater.
QDEVU Moving Bed Bioreactor (MBBR) Integrated Sewage treatment Plant are designed to treat domestic strength sewage, to achieve “Class C” treated effluent, suitable for reuse in “risk category low” applications or for discharge to the environment. With the optional “Class A” upgrade, treated effluent suitable for reuse in “risk category medium” applications is achieved.
The standard treatment process includes influent screening, balance tank mixing, anoxic & aerobic treatment, clarification, effluent sterilization (chlorine tablets) and bag filtration (100 micron). The optional “Class A” upgrade includes an autobackwashing aseptic glass media filter (5 micron), secondary chlorination via tank recirculation and residual trim hypochlorite dosing, and analyzers for online monitoring of treated effluent turbidity, free chlorine and pH.
QDEVU MBBR Bioreactors are constructed of corrosion resistant FRP, and are self-contained, modular systems for easy deployment to remote locations.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The principle of MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) process is to use the basic principle of biofilm process, fully utilize the advantages of activated sludge process, and overcome the shortcomings of traditional activated sludge process and fixed biofilm process.
This method increases the biomass and species in the reactor by adding a certain amount of suspended carriers to the reactor, so as to improve the treatment efficiency of the reactor. As the density of filler is close to water, it is completely mixed with water during aeration, and the environment for microbial growth is gas, liquid and solid three-phase. The collision and shearing of the carrier in water make the air bubbles smaller and increase the utilization rate of oxygen. In addition, there are different biological species inside and outside each carrier. Some anaerobic bacteria or facultative bacteria grow inside and aerobic bacteria grow outside. In this way, each carrier is a micro reactor, allowing simultaneous nitrification and denitrification, thus improving the treatment effect.
ADVANTAGES
MBBR process has the advantages of both traditional fluidized bed and biological contact oxidation method. It is a new and efficient sewage treatment method. The carrier is in fluidization state by virtue of the aeration in the aeration tank and the lifting of water flow, thus forming suspended activated sludge and attached biofilm. This makes the moving bed biofilm use the entire reactor space, giving full play to the advantages of both attached and suspended phase organisms, Make them develop their strengths and circumvent their weaknesses to complement each other. Different from the previous fillers, the suspended fillers can contact with sewage frequently and repeatedly, so they are called "moving biofilm".
The key of moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) technology lies in the research and development of a biological filler whose specific gravity is close to water and is easy to move with water under slight stirring. It has the characteristics of large effective specific surface area, suitable for microbial adsorption and growth, strong applicability and wide application range, which can be used for both organic matter removal and nitrogen and phosphorus removal; It can be used not only for new sewage treatment plants, but also for process transformation and upgrading of existing sewage treatment plants.
